orbi.jobs is operated by Orbi the Alien LLC. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.

orbi.jobs is built on a core principle: your profile is private by default. Your current employer will never see your profile unless you explicitly make it visible to them.

We collect information you provide directly when creating a profile:

• Name, email address, and location
• Current job title, employer, and department
• Skills and years of experience
• Salary expectations and work preferences
• Profile photo (optional)
• Companies you add to your block list

We also collect standard technical data when you use our service, including IP address, browser type, and usage logs.

• To create and display your profile to recruiters (only when you set yourself as visible)
• To enforce your block list — ensuring blocked companies never see your profile
• To display your profile to recruiters, provided they are not from or representing a company on your block list
• To improve the platform and fix bugs
• To communicate service updates

We do not sell your personal data. Ever.

Companies you add to your block list are permanently prevented from viewing your profile on orbi.jobs. This applies to any recruiter who works for or represents a blocked company — not just employees of that company directly. Your current employer is automatically blocked when you complete onboarding.

This is enforced at the data layer. Blocked companies and their representatives receive no information about your existence on the platform.

Your data is stored securely on cloud infrastructure hosted in the United States. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.

We use the following third-party service providers to operate orbi.jobs. These providers process data only as necessary to deliver our service and are bound by appropriate data processing agreements.

• Supabase — database and authentication, hosted on AWS infrastructure in the United States
• Google OAuth — optional sign-in method
• Netlify — hosting and deployment

These services have their own privacy policies governing how they handle your data.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Export your data

You can delete your account at any time from your Settings page. All your data will be permanently removed.
